SURFACE PREPARATION:
TO OBTAIN OPTIMAL RESULTS THE SURFACES TO BE BONDED
MUST THEY BE THOROUGHLY CLEANED WITH A NON-RESIDUE CLOTH SOAKED WITH A SOLUTION OF 3M SURFACE CLEANER? OR A 1:1 SOLUTION OF WATER AND ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL. FOR POWDER-COATED SURFACES OR PLASTIC MATERIALS, IS IT ADVISABLE TO APPLY THE ITEM WITH PRIMER 94? (REFER TO THE TECHNICAL DATA SHEET FOR THE APPLICATION METHOD).
NOTE:
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SURFACES TO WHICH THE ARTICLE IS TO BE APPLIED MUST BE CLEAN AND DRY. THE SURFACES MUST BE FREE FROM GREASE, MOLD RELEASE AGENTS, OIL, WATER CONDENSATION AND ANY CONTAMINANTS THAT COULD AFFECT THE APPLICATION.
REMOVE ROUGH CONTAMINATION WITH A NON-LINT CLOTH. CAN THE OXIDE LAYER BE REMOVED WITH SCOTCH-BRITE? 7447 .
APPLICATION:
REMOVE THE FILM FROM THE DOUBLE-SIDED ADHESIVE INCLUDED IN THE PRODUCT AND APPLY THE ITEM TO THE SURFACE, MAKING IT ADHERE PERFECTLY. LET THE BONDING CONSOLIDATE FOR 72 HOURS. THE IDEAL APPLICATION TEMPERATURE IS BETWEEN 21øC AND 38øC. APPLICATIONS AT TEMPERATURES BELOW 10øC ARE NOT RECOMMENDED.
